UX 365 – MX Sites Entity Refresh Cache / Refresh Metadata
Overview
‘ MX Sites ’ is a new entity in UX Online 365 that is used to support functionality for the Refresh Caches and Refresh Metadata utilities in MX Online 365 . Both utilities were previously managed from the MX Settings menu in versions of UX Online 8 . However , in UX Online 365 , the utilities are accessible directly from the sitemap in the Settings work area > MX Settings > Refresh .
Active MX Sites List View
When you select ‘ Refresh ’ from the sitemap , UX opens a list view of Active MX Site records . There should be one MX Site record created for each MX environment that is connected to to the UX Online . Each record contains the related site root URL and corresponding Security Key .
To create a new record for a new site , select New on the list view toolbar . However , it is important to not create more than one MX Site record for the same MX environment .
Refresh Caches and Refresh Metadata
To run either the Refresh Caches or the Refresh Metadata utility , select a MX Site record . When a record is selected The ‘ Refresh Caches ’ and ‘ Refresh Metadata ’ buttons become available on the list view toolbar .
• The Refresh Caches utility re-populates all MX caches . This process should be run after modifying any Advanced Finds or setup that are exposed to MX Online .
