Dynamics 365 - User Addition Removal Steps | Page 2

Overview:

Overview:

Protech customers have the right to add and remove Dynamics 365 licenses when needed. Protech acts as the Dynamics 365 reseller / CSP and allocates licenses to the customer’ s Microsoft tenant. Protech can increase licenses or decrease the number of Dynamics 365 licenses available in the customer’ s Microsoft tenant *.
* Additional D365 licenses will be added at the Core rate per your contract, and license decreases can be made to contract totals; adjustments to flex licenses can be made where available. Core licenses cannot be decreased below contracted totals without a modification of the sales agreement.
Staff access to UX 365( Dynamics 365) requires 3 steps to provide access for new users *:
1. A Dynamics 365 license assigned to each user. 2. Membership to a Security Group provide for each user. 3. Security Roles assigned for each user in each Dynamics 365 environment they require access to( ex. Production and Staging).
* Disabling users require 2 steps to remove access.
Protech wants customers to have the independence to add and remove staff access when needed when licenses are available. You can work with your Microsoft tenant administrators, whether your internal IT team or a vendor to complete the license assignment and security group membership. Once those items are complete a power user or Dynamics 365 admin staff resource should be able to manage the user’ s security role assignments to provide access to each Dynamics 365 environment.
Protech can provide support for the user addition or removal process, but we do not manage this process and will aim to support customers managing this independently.
