Customers have the right to add and remove Dynamics 365 licenses when needed . Protech allocates Dynamics 365 licenses to the customer ’ s Microsoft tenant in our Microsoft Cloud Solution Provider ( CSP ) portal . Protech will either add additional licenses or reduce the number of licenses available in the customer ’ s tenant . These Dynamics 365 licenses can be assigned in the Microsoft 365 Admin Center by customer ’ s IT department ( or vendor ). Access to Dynamics 365 is controlled by a combination of a Dynamics 365 license , membership in a specific Azure AD group and Dynamics 365 security roles . It is the customer ’ s responsibility to complete the following steps once Protech allocates the Dynamics 365 license ( s ).
1 . Login to the Microsoft 365 Admin Center with an account that is a Global , License or
User admin . 2 . In the admin center , go to the Billing | Licenses page . 3 . Select the product you want to assign ( Dynamics 365 Sales Enterprise Edition or
Dynamics 365 Team Members ). 4 . On the product details page , select Assign licenses . 5 . In the Assign licenses to users pane , begin typing a name , and then choose it from the results to add it to the list . You can add up to 20 users at a time . 6 . Use the defaults under Turn apps and services on or off . 7 . When you are finished , select Assign , then select Close .
How to add the new subscribers to an Azure AD group ?
Note : Protech filters access to Dynamics 365 using an Azure AD Security Group . 1 . Login to the Microsoft 365 Admin Center with an account that is a Global , License or
User admin . 2 . In the admin center , expand Groups , and then click Active groups , click the Security
Tab . 3 . Click Protech UX 365 Access Group to open the settings pane . 4 . On the Members tab , click View all and manage members in the Members section . 5 . Choose Add member to add someone to the group and then click Save .
