The Auto Number Manager only displays entities and attributes that exist within the selected
customization solution. If the entity or attribute is not available for selection, you must add them
directly within the client’s unmanaged custom solution. Then, close and re-open the Auto Number
Manager plugin to see the newly added entity and/or attribute.
Once an entity is selected, a list of the entity’s existing attributes in the custom solution will be
displayed. To only display attributes with auto numbering, select the ‘Only show auto number
attributes’ option. Then select the attribute that you want to modify. In this example, the attribute is
Account Number.
On the right side of the window, Auto Number Manager displays selected attribute’s properties in
the Auto Numbered attribute section. The values will default to the selected attribute’s existing
values.
