Creating Credit Category Records
To create a new Credit Category record , navigate to the Education work area > Education Settings > Credit Categories to open a list of existing records . Review the list of Active Credit Category records to make sure that one does not already exist .
To create a new record , select New on the Tool Bar to open a new Credit Category form .
On the General tab , complete the following fields :
• Name – Enter a short descriptive name
• Credit Category Code – Enter a very short code and avoid special characters other than a hyphen or underscore . Avoid duplicate Credit Category Codes – codes should be unique .
Select Save and Close on the form Tool Bar to save the Credit Category setup and return to the list of existing Credit Category records . Repeat for each Credit Category required .
