Renewing Awards
In UX 365 , the Award Renewal Process utility creates Upcoming Award Renewal records for active , non-permanent awards . Based on the Cycle End Date and optional entries for Award and / or Customer , UX 365 searches for eligible Award Renewal records and provides a count of records found that meet UX 365 Award Renewal criteria and the search filters entered in the process dialog .
The process itself does not renew the Award . It does , however , create an Upcoming Award Renewal record against which a customer can renew / maintain their Award by meeting the renewal requirements of the Award . If required in the Award setup , it also creates the related upcoming renewal invoice against which a customer can apply payment for an Award that requires an invoice .
Awards Eligible for Renewal
Award Renewal criteria for identifying eligible Award Renewal records include :
• Cycle End Date = [ date entered in search ]
• Award = Optional - [ Award ( s ) entered in search ]
• Customer = Optional [ Customer account or contact entered in search ]
• Renewal Processed = False
• Award Status = New , Renew , or Reinstate
• Cycle State = Current
Running the Award Renewal Process
To initiate the Award Renewal Process , navigate to the Education work area > Education Manager > Manager . Select the Award Renewal Process menu item to open the Award Renewal Process dialog .
