Access granted by UX security roles
The following table identifies access granted through the UX security roles. UX Manager roles have
organization access to all privileges for the entities and processes specific to the work area. UX User
roles have limited privileges (i.e., Read, Append, AppendTo) to the entities specific in the work area.
For example, the UX Meeting Manager has organization access to the Create, Read, Write, Delete,
Append, AppendTo privileges for the Event Meeting Setup entity. This restricts management of
meeting setup to users with the UX Meeting Manager security role. The UX Meeting User has
organization access to the Read, Append, and AppendTo privileges for the Event Meeting Setup
entity, enabling users with this security role to create meeting transactions through an invoice and
GoTransactions.
Note:
Known Issue: Security roles for GoTransactions only restrict/enable user access to that module
when starting a new GoTransaction (the drop down on the account and contact record). Once
auser begins a GoTransaction, all module types will be available from the “Add Item” dropdown.
