User Addition to Dynamics 365
Notes: i. Step 1 and Step 2 require administrator permission in your Microsoft tenant.

Please work with your IT or Microsoft 365 vendor to complete these steps. For more information on the license and security group requirements please reference Microsoft’ s documentation here.
Step 1: Assign a Dynamics 365 license to the user in your Microsoft tenant.
1. Login to the Microsoft 365 Admin Center with an account that is a Global, License or
User administrator. 2. In the admin center, go to the Billing | Licenses page. 3. Select the product license you want to assign( UX Subscriber Full or Lite): a. Dynamics 365 Sales Enterprise( Full) b. Dynamics 365 Team Members( Lite) 4. On the product details page, select Assign licenses. 5. In the Assign licenses to users pane, begin typing a name, and then choose it from the results to add it to the list. You can add up to 20 users at a time. 6. Use the defaults under Turn apps and services on or off. 7. When you are finished, select Assign, then select Close.
Step 2: Add the user to the Azure AD Security Group
Note: Protech filters access to each Dynamics 365 environment using an Azure AD Security Group.
1. Login to the Microsoft 365 Admin Center with an account that is a Global, License or
User administrator. 2. In the admin center, expand Groups, and then click Active groups. 3. Click Protech UX 365 Access Group to open the settings pane. 4. On the Members tab, click View all and manage members in the Members section. 5. Choose Add member to add someone to the group and then click Save.
