Any Award that requires a participant to enroll and fulfill an Education Item , but does not require credit hours for renewal ( as defined in the Award setup ‘ Total Credits Required for Renewal ’), requires set up of at least one Recertification / Renewal Requirement :
• Education Item : Requirement Type ( Application , Course , Documentation , Fee ) that defines the selected Education Item a participant must fulfill to meet the renewal requirements for the Award . At least one is required , but you can have multiple requirements – each related to a different Education Item .
You can set up additional requirements for Education Items with the same Requirement Number if the participant can fulfill either requirement . UX 365 will update requirements with the same Requirement Number as Electives .

No Recertification / Renewal Requirements are needed for any Award that only requires payment of a renewal invoice . In this scenario , there are no other renewal requirements for fulfilling an Education Item or achieving Credits for renewal .
No Renewal Requirements are needed for a permanent Award .

After outlining your education and award requirements , Professional Development requires the following preliminary set up before you begin setting up Education Items and Awards .
Renew Award Product
If an Award renewal requires payment of a renewal invoice , at least one Renew Award Product is required to support invoice pricing and GL detail for the invoice payment . If pricing or GL requirements differ among your Awards , create a separate Renew Award Product for each . See Creating a Renew Award Product for more information .
